Crafted from durable teak, this bench is celebrated for its unique textures and natural variations in tone and colour. Over time, the teak may develop charming splits and cracks, adding to its inherent organic beauty. Teak's natural oils also contribute to its long-lasting appeal, and will gradually patina into a silvery-grey finish when exposed to outdoor elements. This weathering process enhances the bench’s elegance, while maintaining the structural integrity of the teak, ensuring its durability for years to come.

The natural oil leaching from teak may result in unavoidable staining on soft materials, and variations in the colour tone of teak can occur over time.

As with any natural material, existing fluids and moisture can leach over time. A natural process of teak involves oil moving to the surface of the teak.

This natural process of teak oil leaching can cause staining; this can be especially evident if the furniture pieces are experiencing exposure to weather elements, particularly rain.

We do not recommend placing this natural timber piece directly onto carpets or rugs. Moisture will generally seep through the ends of the timber. If placing it onto carpets or rugs, markings may be avoided by using a protective liner such as thick plastic.
